Ok, need more suggestions apparently. What do I wear as punishment for losing.?

Was playing Settlers of Catan (board game) last night with my wife and lost. As terms to losing I have to wear a costume comprised of the first 5 items that I get as answers here that are unique, for an entire week (after work and weekend)

Apparently she wants to try again. What is the most embarrassing full costume she can make me wear. She’s picking the best of what the answers she sees and will post a link to a picture of me in it on a future answer. This deal is getting more raw by the second…

I am NOT betting again Thankfully it’s only a week and I can hide indoors most of the time (I hope).

As terms of a bet I lost on Monday night. What should I wear?

Was playing Settlers of Catan (board game) last night with my wife and lost. As terms to losing I have to wear a costume comprised of the first 5 items that I get as answers here that are unique, for an entire week (after work and weekend) I’m now being told it has to be extreme. Gee thanks alot!

Which version of "Catan" should I buy?

I’m addicted to the Original settlers of Catan board game and I’m looking at either the expansion (Cities and Knights), Seafarers of Catan, or Starfarers of Catan to be my next addition to the series…Which should I get, based on your own personal experience?

Are the differnet editions of Settlers compatible? (2nd -4th)??

I have the Settlers of Catan board game with the 5-6 player expansion. It is not a newer edition ,I want to get the Seafarers of Catan, but all I can find is a 4th edition, are these compatible, or will the graphics on the tiles, cards.. be different?

I purchased the Settlers of Catan Board game, and have played it extensively since. And I’m wondering out of all the Expansions [Seafarers, Knights and Barbarians, etc], which one would be the logical next step in expanding my horizons… so to say.

The basic idea of settling and trading better than your opponents is the same, but the only other resemblance between Settlers and Starfarers is the inclusion of ore among the resources. Rather than the wheat and wood we know so well, starfarers are looking to produce and trade ore, food, carbon, fuel and trade goods. Instead of plots of land there are planets. Roads become spaceships, and beyond trading with other players, a starfarer seeks to trade with alien races.

Also new to those familiar with Settlers is the addition of encounter cards. These add random events to the game that require decisions. In Settlers the resources tied to a plot of land are establish from the beginning. Starfarers do not know what resources a planet holds until they’ve landed on it. For all they know, a pirate could be lurking. Then they can only hope that their star fleet has the strength or speed to get away. If their spaceship is not strong enough to withstand attack, their only option is to trade with the pirate and risk being swindled or worse—losing honor, another new component to winning. In addition to colonizing and trade, Starfarers must also protect their good name.
